Your assignment will be to create a webpage in the “Hall of Fame” on a person who made significant contributions to the environment. Gather the following information about your environmentalist:

Where was (is) s/he from?

What is their background? (include childhood, education, careers)

Read something written by your adopted environmentalist. Choose a quote that helps explain his/her philosophy about the environment.

What key environmental issues concern him/her.

What accomplishments did he or she make to help the environment (writings, actions, laws, etc…)

Explain how you would apply this environmentalist’s philosophy to an issue that faces society today.
